It's for everyday use; you wouldn't want to have to store it or take it places. I was happy to find a bed this big; my big dog (90 lbs) can get his whole self on it, and he is in doggie heaven. Sleeps like a....puppy?!

It could use a longer zipper.

But my biggest disappointment is due to the filling being very slippery. SInce it easily moves from place to place, if you step on it, you feel like you are on ice or some other slippery surface. My dog often loses balance while trying to get up and step off this bed. On the other hands, my cats love it and have taken over! I have moved it away from where I can step on it and slip or trip and will keep looking for another living room pad.

I thought that perhaps the lumpy bulky un-constructed filling would even out once my dog laid on it (and then it was too late to send back). The poly filling is the cheapest I've ever seen in a dog bed(in 35 yrs of having dogs), and the cover is way too thin (won't last long with a large dog). It is hard to find beds that are big enough for him, but as soon as we put the cover on the bed he sat right down in comfort.

It is too big for my 60 pound pittbull, but he loves to curl up in it. He isn't a chewer, but he loves to dig and try to make a nice nest for himself. This bed hasn't been torn by his claws yet!

It wouldn't make sense to return, since shipping is so much, will have to deal with it. Disappointed.
