By Linda Dog Walker from Oklahoma on 07/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable For Pet, Easy To Clean, Soft Best Uses: Indoors, Large Pets Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my third attempt to find a good dog bed that is big enough for my large lab, Luke. He really does like this bed a lot, and though he could stretch out in it, he would rather curl up and snuggle in with this bed. Right now the filling is OK (could be firmer), and I hope it does not go flat with time. The cover seems sturdy. Again, time will tell! So far, I am very pleased with this bed!
Great size, poor filling! By Monkey from Texas on 07/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Clean, Great Dane Sized Cons: Attracts Dirt/Hair, Needs denser padding, Thin, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Indoors, Large Pets, Medium Pet, Small Pets can share Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The outer covering is sufficiently thick for our Great Dane who doesnt chew and only claws at bedding occasionally. It does attract hair and I didnt choose wisely on the color (got olive - have white/black dog and the white hair shows up badly after only a few days). Luckily it is easy to remove the cover and wash. Size is perfect - he can stretch out or curl up and he does love this bed.
However -- the filling is very "fluffy" so when you step on it or your dog lays on it, you go right to the floor with a very thin layer of actual padding. It needs a more dense padding. We considered returning it because of this, but beds this size for this price are rare so we decided to keep it and cut a piece of egg crate foam to go inside. I dont know if I would buy this again because of the lack of sufficient padding.

My dogs love it.
quality not as expected/returned By pet lover from colorado on 06/05/2009 Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Thought material would be more like actual canvas but was more like thin cotton duck material. Was not as thick as expected either.
By flynbike from cary, nc on 06/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Easy To Clean, Soft, Thick Best Uses: Indoors, Large Pets Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great, this is my third one because dogs like them so much. Last about two years then seams come undone from washing and most of all stuffing bag gets flat so dog wants a new one. Best dog beds we've had.
Just what I've been looking for By Dog Groomer Girl from Penrose, NC on 05/28/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Easy To Clean, Long Lasting, Thick Best Uses: Indoors, Large Pets Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Large GSD can stretch out very comfortably on this bed. My energetic Border Collie digs and digs when she gets to use it and cannot destroy it. Wish I could fit another one in the den.
By Dog whisperette from las vegas, NV on 05/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable For Pet, Easy To Clean, Soft, Thick Best Uses: Indoors, Large Pets Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We barely got the bed put together and my female lab jumped on the bed and didn't move! We have a total of 3 beds, cause we have 3 labs. They are huge beds. 2 of our labs could fit on one but they never seem to do that, they prefer their own. Haven't washed the covers yet so unsure on durability in washer but the do vacuum up well.
By Mimi from Colorado Springs on 05/19/2009 Pros: Nice to have Jumbo Size Cons: Needs more filling - lots, Thin, Uncomfortable Best Uses: One Big Black Lab Mix Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I got a great price on this dog bed, so I keep that in mind as I write this. The cover for the bed is jumbo sized, as described. There should be two to three times as much stuffing, to fill the bed properly. It looks very comfy until you lay on it and it's flat. We'll keep the bed and try to find more stuffing for our pooch, Boudreaux.
