Great bed with one caveat By ------------- from COS, CO on 03/28/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Soft, Thick Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the bed and the price but I have one thing to note: it's so soft that it tends to loft toward the edges and leave the middle very very thin. I felt it after 2 days and it seems my dog was essentially laying on the hardwood floor in the middle. I placed some high density foam under the bed and the problem is solved - the pup is back to sleeping soundly.
It's a great size for my 90 lb. dog. Looking back, In the near future, I may purchase a firm and FLAT foam bed for my dog's primary bed and use this in the back of the suv. The softness seems to put my dog's body in strange angle. It would be similar to a person sleeping on a pile of pillows.
So, I like it but there may be better options.

It's so comfy for Boone(Anatolian Shepherd) that he hogs it, he does not share it with Ellie(Border Collie). One thing I have noticed, Boone does not "dig" the mattress, as he did his old bed. This is good!

Our dog is a Golden Retriever and she easily curls up on it. My son even wants one. It gets covered with hair, but I can vacuum it. Our Trixie loves it!

He loves it!

If you are unsure of which size to choose, go with the larger one.
