Seems like to should hold up well. I just wish we'd gotten the biggest one - our dog is 68 lbs and barely fits on the 40" round.

We brought it home to him and he loved it. Sat on it like a prince. We left him alone with the bed for 45 minutesthat first night to run an errand and came home to find the bed in pieces in the kitchen. He completely destroyed it, down to eating the zipper. If your puppy or dog is fond of chewing, this bed won't hold up any better than others.
