They also hit right at the mid-calf. They don't seem too comfortable either. The sole is very thin. If you were standing on a cold ground you could become chilled very quickly.

As a teacher, I'm on my feet all day and these shoes are a joy to wear all day. They are light and comfortable and the leather is really soft - no breaking in required. The length is fine but they are quite snug shoes, so the soft leather is a bonus.

The shoe is comfortable, however there is no padding in the heel which makes it a poor choice if you do a lot of walking. I wear them to the office unless I know that I will be on my feet a lot - then I wear a Munro or a Birkenstock and leave these shoes in the closet.

This was marked 36 and was huge. Someone previously apparently had tried to make the top strap fit over a larger foot, so the shoe was stretched out of shape. I bought the last pair, and the shoebox was crushed, while the sandals were haphazardly packed within. This was not a shopping experience on a par with STP's typically high standards.
