I expected it to be darker like the other marcasite jewellery I have, but it looks more like hematite instead.

You can't really tell where the real diamonds are as they are quite small, but they are still beautiful earrings. They are not lightweight but do not weigh down the earlobe. Will look great with a black dress for a special occasion.

Heavy weight piece unlike most cheap stuff sold nowadays. Beautiful shine to it. Looks more silvery when the light catches it than most marcasite pieces. Wouldn't recommend for lighter or tightly woven fine fabrics because of its weight and heavier pin.
