By Fides from Westchester, NY on 07/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Good for spring summer Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Pretty much everyone in my family now owns a pair of these sandals. I recently bought these for my father as a father's day gift. He's had to struggle with aftermath of a broken foot and cannot stop raving (positively) about how much he likes these sandals. Definitely worth it.
By MamMama from S.C. on 07/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cushy, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I find these socks run slightly smaller than sized, so I just order the next size up. That being said, I like the fit. There is no extra bunching at the toe due to the left and right sizing. This is wonderful! I want more colors in all styles!

They look great with either skirts or slacks. They will keep my feet dry when I walk my big dogs into the snow/slush at the side of the road. They are soft--feel more like moccasins on top. Arch support is crucial. Love the wide toe box.

By The mad Lorax from Roan Mountain, TN on 06/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent Best Uses: Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have been out on a few trails and can say these are really nice shoes. The traction is great, one trail had several steeply sloping, unbroken rock faces that these shoes clung to very well, I'm sure my previous hiking shoes would have failed.
The rubber that makes the soles is pretty soft so I don't know how long the wear will be.
They are extremely comfortable now but the first few times wearing them the gussets in the tongue folded over and created uncomfortable pressure on top of the foot.
By karenk from state college, pa on 06/30/2009 Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these for my son, and they seemed like good everyday shoes, but he didn't like the color. Had to send them back
By frasald from Spokane, WA on 06/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoe has excellent traction and stability, with light weight. It's not a boot, so don't expect that type of protection or long term support. I rated it as true to size, but its designed to be snug; when laced it is very firm, but that will no doubt loosen up as the shoe wears in. The shoe is low cut and breathable, which is why I didn't rate it as water resistant.
