They are like bedroom slippers with good support. They are comfortable to stand in at work and to walk short distances. I don't wear them if I have a lot of walking to do during the day. They have a lot of support in the sole but not in the top of the shoe because it is a sip on. I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2. Usually the larger size in Keens(which is what I ordered) but if I could have, it would have been nice to try on the size 8. All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase.Too bad they don't come in more colors.

Everthing I was hoping for and more. They are without a doubt the best shoes I have ever worn. I will look for Keen shoes first before buying any other shoe. I live in Colorado and in the course of a couple of day's we have had 77 degree weather to 12 inches of snow and i can honestly say that the shoes were comfortable in all situations. Although I didn't wear them in the snow I did wear them in the sub teens tempurture and they felt every bit as good as they did in 70 plus degree weather.

The sole is light and flexible enough that you can really feel the texture of the ground underneath your feet. I really like this feeling, but others might not.

these boots? WOW! these things are WARM! INCREDIBLY warm. (i already have worn them a couple of times in the rain to test how water proof they really are. they did a nice job.)
i'm always please to find shoes that fit me, as i have a rather small foot. i ordered a 7, but when i tried them on, i thought "if i have to wear a thicker pair of socks when it's really cold, it's gonna be a pretty tight fit". luckily, they still had 7.5s, so i bought a pair of those, too. if you plan on wearing a heavier sock, order a half-size up. that being said, you probably won't have to wear a heavier sock (these things are THAT warm).
the only thing that can be questionable is that the soles of these boots seemed slippery on wet, metal surfaces (eg, grates, etc).
i HIGHLY recommend these, especially if you live in a cold climate.
