Keen

Keen

You can tell a Keen Footwear shoe by its toes... and the Keen shoe's signature big, upturned bumpers that give the brand its hip identity, not to mention giving your tender toes the protection they need. Keen shoes stepped into the footwear market in 2003 with ground-breaking styles and hybrid performance that adapts to rocky terrain and city streets. The Newport H2, Keen Footwear's premier adventure sandal, hit the trail running with its synthetic straps and siped carbon rubber outsole that moved across land and water with confidence and style. Today, Keen shoes expanded product line reaches from casual minded to athletically demanding without losing the look that started it all.

Keen Tuscany Mid Boots (For Women)

So-so...
By MLE from NJ on 12/10/2007
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Based on comments that Keens run small, I ordered a 9 rather than an 8.5 which I usually wear. I took into account that I might have heavier socks on. Then, when I called Customer Service, I was told since they are made in China, I should size up. Bad decision. These fit like boats - way too big. Also, although mid-height, there were higher in reality. With the laces so tight, they were difficult to put on and take off. Unless you have worn Keens alot, be very careful with sizing.

I purchased this shoe for my husband and myself. Keen shoes and sandals have been my choice for comfort for some time now. These are no exception. Great arch support and great to wear around the house or out running errands. Don't hesitate to buy them. I purchased both colors.

Comments:
Before I get to the good stuff...the sizing on these is WAY off. Many say a half-size but I believe they are even a full size off. I usually wear a men's 9.5 but in the Keens a 10.5 fits perfectly right out of the box. These are my 2nd pair of Keens - I also have the Targhee's in a 10.5 which are perfect. That said, these Delanys are terrific shoes. So comfy and so easy on and off. They have spectacular arch and heal support. I just got them and they already feel like old friends. I can't wait to take them to work! Keens are THE best. Now if they can only figure out their sizing...

I have yet to be disappointed with Keen shoes..., They always fit well and mold to the shape of your feet... I thought these boots might get a bit dicey in water b/c they are w/out shoe laces...., not the case..., the strapping pulls snug and keep your puppies dry and warm..... david

i've been trying to find an open-toed, breathable shoe/sandal that i can walk/hike in and get wet and still wouldn't chafe or cause blisters. i hope this shoe fits the bill! i haven't worn them out and about yet, but they are comfy and feel really good on my (poor, achy, abused) feet. and they look good, but they have that rubber smell that reeks of old tires kinda thing, which i hate but i hope the smell subsides after awhile (maybe after wearing them in the Wild).

Nice looking shoes and the gummy bottom is good in wet weather. But, there is not a ton of support in the footbed, so if you're on your feet all day, these aren't the shoes you want to wear.
