It was too thick to wear under clothes. I liked the idea of a neck strap that couldn't be cut by a theif.

It turned out to be so handy that I'm tempted to use it as my wallet all the time. It's great! Nothing falls out of it, a problem I've had with other way more expensive wallets. And the little chain which allows you to hook it into your purse gives an extra bit of security especially when in unfamiliar places where one is more likely to accidently drop ones wallet.
