This is my 4th pair. My husband surprised me with these shades. I absolutely love them. I had seen them while we were vacationing in Hawaii but they didn't have the color I wanted. Thanks STP for saving me (well, my husband) lots of money. I was willing to pay the $180 they wanted in Hawaii.

By codygarcia from marietta, georgia on 11/11/2008 Describe Yourself: Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: i've always had good luck with STP products, but these were a real letdown. i bought a pair of reptiles last christmas for the design, glass lenses and polarization. i didn't get to wear them much because i really liked my smiths. anyway, i subsequently discovered that the lenses were defective. a line of distortion passed through the center of each lens. [...] do yourself a favor, stick with a name brand pair of sunglasses.
Great but lenses scratch easily By Mesa Walker from New Mexico on 11/07/2008 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are my everyday sunglasses and are very comfortable. I love everything about them except that the lenses scratch exceptionally easily for what I expect from Reptile. I have had several Reptile sunglasses, but this is my first plastic lense pair and I think I prefer glass.
By NJfisherman from NJ on 09/03/2008 Pros: Good Protection from the Sun, Stylish Best Uses: Bad Weather, Casual Wear, Freshwater Fishing, Saltwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my 3rd pair of Reptile sunglasses and Reptile is my main brand. This particular pair is now my favorite. These sunglasses are feather light, extremely comfortable and look great. The lenses are clear (fire rose) and the polorization is phenomenal. I know I sound like an advertisement, but you have understand that I have owned all the major brands in my lifetime and thanks to STP I discovered Reptile. Oh and by the way I got an awesome deal.

Comfortable, even without the spring hinge. Did I mention great lenses? A week on the water and I didn't experience noticeable eye fatigue.
Reptile, barnone the best By NJ fishmaster from NJ on 08/17/2008 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Scratch Resistant Best Uses: At The Beach, Athletics, Casual Wear, Driving, Special Occasions, Travel Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my 2nd pair of Reptile Sunglasses and I will continue to purchase them. Sturdy but a little on the heavy side (being that they are GLASS lenses).
I have to tell you that the Fire lens is absolutely barnone, the best lens I have ever viewed. The Blue-Ice lens is a close runner-up.
I have not tried the Polycarbonite lenses yet, but just ordered a pair to check them out.
I have used all major brands of sunglasses: Revo, Maui Jim, Serengeti, Bolle',ect, & I have to tell you, Reptile is the best of the best.
By Mas from Upland CA on 08/09/2008 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving Describe Yourself: Career, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Exactly what I hoped for considering I was not able to try these on prior to purchase and had to rely on the measurements given and photos. [...] I will still need to go to someone to adjust the fit for minor tweaks.
