For throwing your rod in the car, this thing is perfect.
It is easy to disassemble your rod, slip the pieces into the 4 pockets, and zip the case up without having to remove the reel. Every second counts when you're racing your buddy to the first hole of the day.
The down-side: that soft canvas reel case can hold up to car abuse, but forget about checking this case in on a flight.
I would purchase this product again. One seperation in the tube for rod pieces, I prefer no seperators in this type case so rod can be assembled with line strung & fly attached, then plug in the sections and fish.

Since the case had four compartments built in, I was not able to put the spinning rod into the case. It's a shame since the case is very well made.

I really like that there is a separate sleeve for each rod section. I wish the reel box was a little bit stiffer. However, for the price, this is a great value.
