By mountain people from Boone, NC on 10/27/2009 Pros: Easy To Configure, Easy To Use Describe Yourself: Casual User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It does everything it is supposed to! Very handy.
By cheffjeff from cheffjeff on 10/26/2009 Pros: Consistent Performance, Easy To Use Describe Yourself: Casual User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This unit is more limited than moany others as it only shows tempretures and not humidity or anything else but it worked well out of the box and was very low priced. It seems accurate. I haven't had it long enough to test durability but I am using both elements indoors so it shouldn't take much wear. For the money, you can't do better.
Good features, hard to see By RedFred from Lake Jackson, TX on 10/23/2009 Pros: Consistent Performance, Easy To Configure, Easy To Use Describe Yourself: Casual User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Overall a nice little weather station with good features. My only complaint is that the screen and information is difficult to see in low light conditions. It has a backlight, but it cannot be set to stay illuminated. Adjusting the contrast helped some. Good reliable product thus far.
Great Upgrade From My Old LaCrosse By Elvis J. Pennywhistle from Ventura Ia. on 10/23/2009 Pros: Consistent Performance, Durable, Easy To Configure, Easy To Use Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Another quality product from LaCrosse
Nice product, but lacks some things. By MsSunshine from Maine on 10/22/2009 Pros: Consistent Performance, Durable, Easy To Configure, Easy To Use Cons: No barametric pressure Describe Yourself: Casual User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the reading that is projected onto the ceiling. We keep it in our bedroom and can just look up to see the time and outside temperature. I also enjoy the dual alarm clock. There is no barametric pressure reading, however, there is a symbol that tells you if the pressure is dropping or increasing. There are only 3 pictures of the weather; it does not show windy or snowy, which we could definately use here in Northern New England! This model is really accurate for the outside temperature, but does not seem to be as accurate for the inside temperature. Great product for the price.
Quick! Get those batteries installed. By Creaky Joints from Boston, MA on 10/21/2009 Pros: Durable, Good signal pick-up, Nice Display Cons: MaxMin confusing, Transmitter not waterproo Describe Yourself: Casual User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: 1.The directions for setting Max/Min are confusing and not easy to use without referring to the directions. Whoever designed the setting logic should try it out and see they missed keeping it simple.
2.Outside transmitter says its not waterproof. I installed it outside under a roof eave about 40 feet away from the inside display. I'm pleased transmissions are picked up.
3. Hope it lasts longer than the three years life of the Model# WS9025U I purchased from Sierra Trader.
4. The instructions stated you have 30 seconds to intall the display batteries after setting up the transmitter. What stress!!!!!!!!

I bought 3 and really like them By Tio Raoul from Albany NY on 10/21/2009 Pros: Atomic accurate, I like features, It's quiet Cons: Poor upright position Describe Yourself: Casual User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Use for travel and as home alarm clock. No ticking, does not keep me awake. In the open position, the rachet does not keep it upright, it falls back or closes; I have to prop it against something.
