By KK the dancer from Santa Fe New mexico on 11/01/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Lightweight Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I lost a pair of Julbos and these were the replacement pair. They are a bit wider than the ones I had. The frames bow out more and as I have a small face, they seem just a tad wide. But overall I like them very much.
By Tennis crazed from sacramento ca on 10/31/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Athletics, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Classic Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Need to redesign the sides so they don't hurt your ears
Excellent glasses and a great value! By Sarin69 from Anywhere, USA on 10/31/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Comfortable, Durable, Good Polarization, Lightweight, Scratch Resistant Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear, Driving, Fishing, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm not familiar with the brand name Julbo, but after using these glasses I actually bought another pair just to keep in my car. They are very affordable for a good comfortable polarized pair of sunglasses. I am not crazy about the style, but I feel comfortable wearing them in almost any situation. I plan to keep an eye out for more Julbo deals!!
By Ari from Central New Jersey on 10/30/2009 Cons: Unattractive Design, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these glasses because I have a small face and the reviews indicated that they were best for a smaller frame. However, they were not that comfortable for me and didn't sit on my nose properly. Also, the actual shades were a smaller fit than I like.
By Jedibabe from Pullman, WA on 10/30/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Comfortable, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Lightweight Best Uses: At The Beach, Athletics, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These glasses are a little odd of a color, you can't see it in the picture but they are a very dark blue with yellow rubber pads inside. Not gorgeous, but highly functional and light weight, definitely keepers, especially at the price I paid for them. Great for outdoors, the detachable leash is really a good idea. These are my fourth pair of Julbos and I am sold on them, there great glasses!
By Hiker from Catskill Mts., NY on 10/30/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Protection, Lightweight, Scratch Resistant Describe Yourself: Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Great sunglasses .I wish I would have gotten a polarized pair . I was out hiking with them the other day, they fit well , and stay put , due to very sufficient nose and ear pads .I would have given them a 5 rating, if it weren't for an uncomfortable glare in direct bright sunlight . The polarized pair I had worked fine under such conditions .
Polarized under $20. (with promotion)! By rm3 from Maryland on 10/29/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Good Polarization, Lightweight Cons: Small lens top to bottom Best Uses: At The Beach, Athletics, Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Don't really notice the dark blue metallic frame until exposed to bright sunlight. Lens vertical dimension slightly too small allowing a fair amount of light under lens at cheeks. Strap is removable. Great deal the way I lose sunglasses.
Good quality, good optics By The Hammer from Fort Lauderdale on 10/29/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Polarization, Lightweight Cons: Poor Protection, Too Small Best Uses: At The Beach, Athletics, Casual Wear, Driving Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice glasses, everything is fine except for a bit too little peripheral coverage.
By In your eyes from Stamford, CT on 10/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Moderate Tint Best Uses: Boating, Casual Wear, Driving, Sporting Events, Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are nice shades. I have them in black and they seem uni-sex to me. My Julbo Units have Polarized lenses (not sure this model does) and clarity is good and cuts glare. Tint is moderate so they're versatile - probably not great for brightest of beach days.
Very lightweight and they stay solidly on my face and don't move, but they don't have a rubber nose piece or anything so not great for sweaty, high movement activity.
Only complaint is that the frames don't seem especially forgiving, so I'll be careful with them.
Overall a very good value on STP.
Great sunglasses for the price By JK from Philadelphia, PA on 10/26/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Comfortable, Good Polarization Best Uses: At The Beach, Athletics, Driving Describe Yourself: Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these to replace my [...]$15 specials. Needless to say, these sunglasses are in a different class. They are light-weight and stay put on my face, even with the strap removed. I've worn them running and driving so far and they've done well in both situations.
