Great for Cloudy or Low Light Days By LTZ470 from Prosper, Texas on 10/22/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight, Scratch Resistant Best Uses: Athletics, Casual Wear, Driving Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great price from STP on a secondary pair of shades...the rose tint is great for cloudy or low light days. I broke the nose bridge after 3-4 months but I do abuse them by sticking them in side pockets of my Carhartt pants at times and thats probably what cracked them initially. Got a second pair on the way and I'll be more careful with these!!
By tom from parker, colorado on 10/20/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't tried this on the slopes yet, as I am just getting my gear together for the coming season.
By Double H from Portland, ME on 10/12/2009 Pros: Good Fit, Good Visibility, Lens Quality, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These look and feel great! It is too early for me to comment on weather condition wear since the season hasn't begun. I have, however, been wearing them around and checking out the lighting effects. I am excited to get them on the slopes!
By Missionary Jeff from Southern Indiana on 10/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Polarization, Lightweight Best Uses: At The Beach, Athletics, Casual Wear, Driving, Special Occasions, Travel Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I do not know about protection as to UV, I can only assume you are correct. But I can say that I really like them in all aspects but one. I wish they were a little more tinted. I don't want them really dark, but a little darker than they are would be nice for driving toward a setting or rising sun. Over all, I am very satisfied with them!
great overall quality and protection By whipper from Baltimore, MD on 10/07/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Lightweight, Scratch Resistant Best Uses: Athletics, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought the sunglasses to wear for protection for playing tennis and they have met my needs well against the sun.
By DB from San Jose, CA on 10/06/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed replacement sunglasses to wear while motorcycling, so my requirements are photo-chromatic with polycarbonate lenses, and a relatively small size to fit inside my helmet. I find the helmet puts pressure on the temples and eventually weakens them to failure, but these sunglasses seem a bit more flexible than my previous ones, so perhaps they'll last longer. The rose-modulator lenses are very nice for riding.
By Ironwoman Triathlete from Columbus, Ohio on 10/05/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Scratch Resistant Best Uses: Athletics, Casual Wear, Driving Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Long distance triathlete Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great for long distance triathlon training! They are just what I needed for "running" and I also use them for long distance driving!
By Tri Addict from Simi Valley, CA on 10/05/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Protection, Lightweight Best Uses: At The Beach, Athletics, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this product to replace my Oakley wireframes polarized sunglasses, specifically to use for my triathlon. Initially wasn't sure of how the fit would be, as I am more of a smaller frame, then normal. Plus the price was so great, that I questioned if it was too good to be true. The sunglass was wonderful. It was light weight; the coverage was great without having to feel that your whole face was covered. Great for cycling and running. The modulator worked fine (darker as needed). Overall a great pair of sunglasses.
Downside: drop it (yes already) once and scratch the lens a little.
