By Spud from Spokane, WA on 07/14/2008 Pros: Fits like a glove, Good for Walking, Good Traction, Simple to Use Cons: Laces rather than velcro Best Uses: Commuter shoes, Everyday riding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are my first MTB shoes. I use these about 5 times per week on MTB rides ranging from 8 - 16 miles. I currently use them with toe-clip pedals and will make the leap to clipless pedals soon. They fit good, with a little narrowness at the toe. while they have laces instead of velcro, there is a velcro tab to tuck the laces into so they don't go crazy on you. For the price you can't beat these as a recreational shoe!
By shoeless from MS on 07/14/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i was looking for a narrower shoe and was told this brand was a good one to try. however, this particular style was no good for me. the adjustable strap at the top didn't tighten enough and the heel cup was too large. it's extremely difficult to find a narrow cycling shoe...guess i'll have to keep wearing lots of socks in the shoes i've got that are falling apart...
