By Doug from Omaha on 10/27/2009 Pros: Durable, Good Cut, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Generally very pleased with jacket ... with two caveats. The zipper is sometimes difficult to start and it occasionally gets stuck. The corduroy collar has little or no lining and needs to be straightened or flattened after you put on the jacket. I also have a Barbour jacket of similar design (the gold standard??). The Oxford Blue jacket compares favorably with the Barbour ... except for the two issues listed above.

By closeprox from Northern Illinois on 08/23/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For some reason this coat fits me better than my Barbours, the waterproofing isn't as well done as Barbour, but that is easily remedied. Its a simple, practical, well made coat. If you need more warmth, add a sweater underneath. I have long arms, and the sleeves fit just fine. The cut is generous for versatility, but not too generous. This is my second one. I bought the first one three years ago and it still looked like new until the new hunting puppy decided to chew a sleeve off when no one was looking. One last point, for extreme cold, I'll go back to my heavy weight, insulated, Barbour with a good Irish sweater underneath.

This is my second Oxford Blue Coat By Joe Quattro from Boston, MA on 03/29/2009 Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have worn my first Oxford Blue coat everyday strait for three fall, winter and spring seasons and it has been just an outstanding product. I used this jacket, with a sweater underneath, in Fargo in the winter when it was 25 below and 25 MPH winds and was very comfortable. The new jacket was purchased as the deal was just too good to pass up on such a quality product.

It does this, while the coat itself is relatively light weight and comfortable to wear. Great for hunting and camping, and many other outdoor activities.
