Excellent value for the money By MH from Canada on 01/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Runs very big, the sizing is incorrect. I got this for my husband in XL size which is UK 44 and it fit my husband perfectly. His chest size is 52. Very good value for the money plus a bonus that it is made in England which is hard to find.

By Sidney from Oxford, Alabama on 01/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Before ordering, I called and talked with a sales rep to ask about the note about ordering one size smaller, she told me how that is arrived at. I did and it fits wonderfully! Very well made coat, just have to get use to the "backward" zipper.
By JT from wash dc on 12/30/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: There were several comments about how big this was. But if you look on the manufacturer's website you can see the sizing they use is different than the standard American. L is 44-46, XL is 48-50. I'd say the size is right for layering over fleece or sweater. Also most men's jackets in Europe have the zipper tab on the left. The original retail price and savings seem inflated. You can find similar Oxford Blue coats on sale on a British website for [$]. Still, it's cheaper than a Barbour and of comparable quality.Only change is maybe I would move drawstring to waist and add back or side vents.

By e from NC on 12/27/2008 Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Description said to order one size smaller but I don't feel this is accurate. The sleeve length was definately too short. Will return for a larger size.
