A good basic emergency kit By Wisconsin walker from Madison, WI on 03/24/2009 Pros: Easy To Use, Effective Best Uses: Emergency Preparedness, Good for most camping, Keep In The Trunk, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: I know basic first aid, Parent Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered this kit because it's a great buy and a good start to a larger kit. I then copied the contents for the larger emergency kit from Sierra's website and purchased what was missing from this smaller kit. Eventually, I created a kit that is better than the larger kit. I packaged everything in plastic bags and then put them in a medium size nylon bag obtained from Harbor Freight. My camping tends to be in back-country so I wanted a fully supplied kit and now I have it.
By Survivor from North Central, Florida on 03/17/2009 Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Promotes Healing, Safe Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this kit for my boat. I didn't need anything too big and this is perfect. Small enough but jammed with goodies. Comes with a first aid book, each section is in it's own bag for easy storage and I have some more room to add extra stuff if needed. Comes with aspirin, pain relievers, gloves, heating pads, aspirins of all kinds and bandages to cover every boo-boo just about. I almost purchased the [...] kit but am so thankful I spent a few dollars extra for this. Being it water-proof is a bonus. I am purchasing another one for my home. Everything is all in one place and I paid a total of [$] This is a good find for anyone.

By Father of 3 knee-scraping boys from Minneapolis, MN on 03/16/2009 Best Uses: Emergency Preparedness, Keep In The Trunk, Outdoor Activities, Quick Fix Describe Yourself: CPR Trained, Novice First Aid Skills, Parent Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked this product initially, and thought the first aid instructions included were great. Then I noticed that many of the items in the instructions weren't in the kit! If the instructions aren't tailored to the items in the kit, they're worthless. I ultimately returned the two kits I bought for this reason.
