Comfortable, sturdy. Only bad thing is the water bottles. They're impossible to get water out of. You can easily substitute your own 3" wide bottles.

By Lisd from Brighton, MI on 04/28/2009 Pros: Easy to Refill, Good Water Flow, Large Capacity, Removable Pouch, Secure Straps Best Uses: Day Hiking, Mountain Biking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice pack for the money for day hike use. It would be too bulky for running or cycling. The main pouch is roomy enough for all of the essentials, a small camera and snack. The smaller removable pouch is a nice feature along with all of the padding. The cords around the water bottles are a bit cumbersome to use.

Works well on mountain bike but would not use on road bike due to position of back when seated.

By thered08 from Tennessee on 01/13/2009 Pros: Good Capacity, Impact Resistant Best Uses: Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this water bottle to carry a some firewater to warm myself up after a long day of hiking. Nalgenes holds smells like crazy, so I wanted something that wouldn't. The polycarbonate is awesome, it does not retain smells at all. I gave it a 4/5 bc the strap to the cap broke, but the cap still works great.
