By Kayaking Freaks from Pennsylvania on 06/05/2008 Cons: Hard to drink out of Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We have great well water at work and home and don't want to buy bottled water, just for the delivery system so to speak, meaning to have a bottle to carry around. We looked at the Kl**n Kanteens but heard they were difficult to clean. This bottle is top rack dishwasher safe and cleans beautifully, no spots. No plastic taste in the water either. The only negative is that it's a little difficult to drink from, but you can get used to it. Wish there were a larger size!
By Beamer from Bellevue, WA on 06/04/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Drain, Good Capacity, No Plastic Taste Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It is an OK water bottle, but just a little too big for me to hold comfortably.
No leaking! Easy to carry By Lici from California on 05/31/2008 Pros: Easy To Refill, Good Water Flow, Highly Adjustable, Stable Cons: Tightening belt can slip Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The best thing about this product is that you can fling this bottle around and it won't leak. It is so easy to get fluid out of the kicker valve and you don't have to open and close it each time you use it. I use this for all my long runs (10-20 miles) and have never had a problem with the weight of the bottle -- and I'm a skinny woman!
By Jen from NH on 05/28/2008 Pros: Easy to Refill, Good Water Flow, Large Capacity, Secure Straps Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Arrived with a broken valve on one bottle. The pack is a nice size, and has plenty of room to bring snacks and extra clothes. It is a good fit on a woman; adjust to fit well. Fabric/color is pretty embarrassing, but, hey, no one is going to steal it!
By science guy from Spring Hill, TN on 05/27/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Drain, Good Capacity, No Plastic Taste Best Uses: Campgrounds, Day Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am using this bottle to carry water around in for daily use. It seems durable and the capacity is excellent. The cap seals well but is a little hard to open and close. Perhaps this will improve as it gets broken in. I could detect absolutely no plastic taste.
Not a fancy bottle but an overall good value for the price.
By Retired on Cape Cod from Cape Cod on 05/26/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Drain, Good Capacity, Good grip, No Plastic Taste, Retains temperature well Best Uses: Around town, Day Trips, Keep in Car Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The price is right. The large holding capacity is very useful. The safety rating is important.
By Out there in Illinois from Central Illinois on 05/24/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Capacity, Good grip, No Plastic Taste Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Day Trips, River Trips, Survival Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good product...my only concern is the '7' on the bottom..It's polycarbonate, and now they say we shouldn't be drinking out of that. I don't use this in the microwave or with hot water, so think the risk with cool water is minimal. I plan to keep using it until they come out with something more definite.
perfect for kids, better than sippy cup By Mom from Seattle Wa on 05/20/2008 Pros: Durable, Good grip, No Plastic Taste, quick walks, kids Best Uses: casual use, Day Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great size for my kids 2.5 years and 1 year old. They can hold them and sip them easily. Work well as squirt guns too...perfect aim spout! Seriously don't spill if you snap the lid back. Holds enough for a quick outing or walk. One side is flat so can fit in pocket. I wish I bought a few more.
By jvv227 from Oakland, CA on 05/19/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Drain, Good Capacity Cons: Can be hard to close. Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Day Trips, River Trips, Survival Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Lightweight but strong, easy to drink from. I like the reduced weight versus other plastic/lexan bottles. Can be a little hard to close, but I found that if you press down on the cap as you begin to close, the problem goes away.
By Jan Loves Water from North Central FL on 05/16/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Drain, Good Capacity, Good grip, No Plastic Taste Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought it since I felt quilty about putting my plastic disposable water bottles in landfills. Since it has a wide mouth, it cleans up great on top shelf of my dishwasher and I can put ice cubes in it.
