By Far North from Alaska on 08/18/2008 Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I measured to be sure to get the right size but it is way too small.
By DickM. from Park Ridge, IL on 08/09/2008 Pros: Adjustable, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For intensely sunny conditions to guard against skin cancer.
Skin cancer is cumulative and this hood does a great job at SPF 50 to protect you.
I like the way it can be folded over your head like a neckerchief while eating and drinking.
would definitely purchase again By gabbycat from st louis, mo on 08/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: a great spf product for the price. I've priced other hats made of spf/upf material and they are quite a bit more expensive. Lightweight for the summer heat (not made of cotton).
By Bendel, The Lion of North Tennessee from Whites Creek, TN on 08/04/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Having stopped my share of thermonuclear radiation in my lifetime, I do not like the solar-oven feeling of my head-in-helmet as I ride into the sun. It is a bit snug, but his helps me relax about the punishing sun-rays.

Easy to keep in purse or jacket pocket By Pale, pale girl from Madison, WI on 07/24/2008 Pros: Convenient, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like that this folds into a small pocket. I am super sun sensitive so I like to have a hat available. The hat is very lightweight. I prefer the looks of a heavier, larger brimmed hat. However, those hats can't fold into small packet like this dos.

By wdave from L.I., N.Y. on 07/22/2008 Pros: Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional Best Uses: Fresh Water, Salt Water Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice glove, good fit, decent design. The number of loose threads makes me suspect lifetime will be short.
I bought two and gave one to a friend ~ By Kim from Farmington, NM on 07/21/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in Northern New Mexico and hike the high desert plains. During the summer months, the temperature is easily near 100, with the altitude around 5,500 feet - you need protection. This hat has made a remarkable difference, keeping the sun off of my neck, not to mention the biting flies. Great product, I will repurchase.
