Great for germ control at the gym By Point Reyes Chick from Point Reyes National Seashore on 11/16/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Protection from germs Best Uses: Holding treadmill Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought three of these for the GYM. They are perfect for this use because they are light weight. They are not full gloves, YET they are not the short fingers either like most gym gloves. Perfect coverage. The tips of my fingers stick out, which keeps me from over heating. I don't like touching gym equipment. It's gross. These glove's also remind me not to touch my face with potential germs. I use the top of the gloves to wipe my brow. By the end of a really good work out they are sopping wet, but that's why I bought three. I can wash and allow them to dry. The label states that are to be hand washed and not dried, I assume because the SPF would wear off, but I don't care about that, so I wash in machine and air dry and they are fine. Great price at STP. I am a woman with good size hands and the M fit me perfectly.
Surprising quality for the price! By Coop from Colorado on 11/12/2009 Pros: Good Protection from Rain Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing, Saltwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We will use for cold day fishing and ice fishing. They seem to be of decent quality. Thumb and forefinger open and fasten back to allow fiddling with hooks and such. Because of the finger and thumb slits, if you stuck your hand in the water, they would fill up. I think they were about $10. Good price.

By Fishing Dude from Oregon on 11/06/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these for steelhead fishing in the winter. I was hoping they would be waterproof but not even really water resistant. When they get wet they act as sponges and water rolls right into your sleeves. Not Awesome
