By Bass'n in the Everglades from Boca Raton, Florida on 08/24/2009 Pros: Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A good hat because it is very light weight, although that doesn't make it durable it does make it comfortable in hot weather.
By VF from Woodinville, WA on 08/24/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this is a nice pair of gloves. i have broad palms and short fingers, so the index finger is a bit too long for me (bought mediums); i probably could have used a small but that size wasn't available. i usually wear a womens 7 1/2-8 size glove. they are a bit loose but comfortable. i can easily short the index finger to fit. all in all, a nice glove.
By Flyguy from Columbus, Ohio on 08/19/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Rugged, Warm and comfortable Best Uses: Bad Weather, Cold weather, Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for cold weather fly fishing, like for steelehead or trout fishing during Fall through Spring seasons. I have mild arthritis, so after standing in a river for hours my hand will get cold, so I will put these gloves on for a while to warm my hands up.
By CabelaKip from Excelsior, MN on 08/17/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional Best Uses: Fresh Water, Salt Water Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I always use these gloves for fishing Alaska salmon, whether it is fresh water on the Kenai or Russian Rivers, or salt water out of Seward. The weather can be very cool with rain, and these gloves keep your hands warm when they are in and out of the water on a constant basis. They are durable and wash up nicely. A steal for the price!
By dawn from ma on 08/13/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: fell apart after first use. The velcro strap ripped small holes in material.

Needs to be cut to curve of the hand By Custos Libros from New York City on 08/12/2009 Cons: Difficult To Use, Poor Construction, Poor Design, Serves No Purpose Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It is unfortunate that these gloves are not contoured to the shape of a closed hand, as the material and sewing appear to be top flight. Because the gloves are not contoured there is too much fabric in the palm. This both interferes with one's grip on a flyrod handle and makes one's stripping hand feel a bit unnatural. Not a problem with lighter rods, but for 9s and up in the salt, where you're hauling and playing larger fish, it is uncomfortable. I'm going to experiment with cutting out the excess fabric in the palm--that might do the trick.
