By BKO from Nashville on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Use, Strong Construction Best Uses: Infants, Newborn, Out & About, Travel Describe Yourself: First Time Parent Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This carrier is much sturdier than some of the other commercial brands, Additionally, it seems to distribute the weight better than other carriers around the waist. I like that the storage/pockets can be detached based on needed functionality. First use, 1 month old baby went straigt to sleep.
By photocodo from Orlando, FL on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load Best Uses: Day trip, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I havent really had a chance to use this pack but it seems like a pretty sweet pack. Its light and compact. I will use it mostly for traveling through central america so the fact that there arent a hundred straps hanging off the outside of it is great. there is just one main compartment, a lid compartment and little strap pockets. It is pretty simple but thats what I need. If you want all the bells and whistles that some of the "fancy" packs have to offer these days, this may not be the pack for you. However, if you want to pack light and keep it simple I would recommend this to anyone.
By MoinAK from Alaska on 10/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Use, Lightweight, Strong Construction Describe Yourself: First Time Parent Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's easily adjusted to fit me or my husband. Padded straps are a big plus!
Solid tent; easy to set up By Danster63 from West Chester, PA on 10/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this tent so that my sons and I would have a bit more room for gear and changing clothes during our cub scout camping trips. The tent would be pretty heavy for backpacking, but it's great for truck camping. Set us is very easy after you've done it once, and take down is even easier. I do wish it had a larger fly that would cover more of the front door area.

By first time gramma from Petoskey, MI on 10/01/2009 Cons: Hip strap gaps, Takes a bit of practice Best Uses: Infants, Out & About Describe Yourself: Grandparent Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchased this because it promised to distribute the weight well. It didn't live up to expectations. The waist/hip band gaps. Weight does not settle on to hips/pelvis. My shoulders still ached!
By maryanne from Bear Valley, CA on 09/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Roomy, Stows Easily, Warm Best Uses: Car Camping, Cold Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just got back from camping in Yellowstone in September, in the back of a truck. I am always cold, but this kept me warm and is very fluffy. Almost like sleeping in my own bed. Love the mummy hood but the roominess of opening to quilt size and the little pockets everywhere. Fantastic bag, especially for the price.
By AT Volunteer from NC on 09/13/2009 Pros: Good padding, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Like the padded harness but not the small capacity--not large enough to hold raingear, water and food comfortably. Should have bought a larger, more heavy duty pack.
By Randomvibe from Lewsiville, NC on 09/09/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Camping, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Its a great bag for what I need it for - mainly to get my friends to quit laughing when they see the paper bags I have packed my stuff in past trips. Seriously it's a quality bag for the money. The only thing it needs is a little something to be on the shoulder pad to keep it from slipping off your shoulder.
By Megan from Christiansburg, VA on 09/07/2009 Pros: Large capacity, The green is a nice color Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked the looks of the bag, though it is quite buily even when empty. I wanted to use it for work/school to transport a laptop and books in and the design of the main compartment zipper doesn't allow for easy loading of books etc. Would be nice if the hip straps were removable. Good padding, but I could never get it comfortable on my back, especially not with a load.
