By blatt from charleston, sc on 08/25/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight, Neat Features, Roomy Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The bag is great. We went hiking the other day and a multitude of other parents commented on how great the pack looked. It was far more comfortable than my internal frame pack I use for overnight hikes. It's only drawback is that our little one couldn't see over my head so he kept shifting his weight from side to side making it a bit uncomfortable at times.

An excellent all around pack By Lowlander from Brooklyn, NY on 08/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Large capacity Best Uses: Carry my stuff to work, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have some larger Kelty packs but chose this one as a commuter pack for work. This is just a little bit large for what I need but it has the better hip support that I didn't find on the smaller packs. I like the outside pockets and in general the very practical Kelty design.
By wishing i had Art Wolfe's job... from Portland, Or. on 08/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Large capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had been searching for a pack that could carry a hydration system, basic trail gear for myself and my dog, some camera gear and a decent size tripod. For whatever reason packs that combine enough room for day hike gear and camera gear are hard to find, or insanely expensive. The main things i wanted out of a bag was to have a hydration sleeve, decent carrying capacity and a simple way to carry a camera tripod. ( the liter size pockets on the sides of the bag with the two quick release straps on the sides of the bag work perfectly ) This bag covers everything i want for a extended day / photography hike, or a somewhat minimal multi-day backpacking trip.
Bottom line is im very happy with this bag, including the great price from Sierra Trading Post.
Design doesn't get any better By Hike and Fish from Colorado on 08/03/2009 Pros: Pillow pocket is an A, Roomy, Warm Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Backpacking Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this bag for my daughter who is graduating from college and becoming an avid backpacker. The design is wonderful with plenty of room to move while at the same time not sacrificing warmth. A hybrid bag has always been my choice when wanting warmth yet having a mix that will keep you warm, even if the bag gets wet for whatever reason. Kelty made an excellent design with this one.
