overall a good pack, just not for me By Jackie Chan from Colorado on 06/09/2009 Pros: Easy To Load, Large Capacity Best Uses: Extended Hikes, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This pack is overall a good buy for the money. However, I tried a very similar one on at another store before I bought this one to make sure it would fit. When I got mine, it was too big and gapped under the shoulder straps. I ended up returning it.

Woman specific fit is worth it!!! By Hikes with dogs from Sandyston, NJ on 06/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Large capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As an avid hiker I've been through many packs and I really feel this pack is probably the most comfortable. Being 5'2", most packs did not rest comfortably on my frame. I find this pack fits my frame well and carries all my supplies. I'm usually a day hiker but I can see doing a few overnights with it.
By Arleen from Lincoln, NE on 06/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good Padding, Highly Adjustable, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Day Hikes, Extended Hikes, Heavy Loads, Light Loads, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just bought this backpack and took it out for a two day, 15 miles hiking/camping trip. I loaded it with about 15-20 pounds and it was super comfortable. There are lots of pockets that allow easy access. For me, the best part about the backpack is that it is adjustable and made specifically for women. I am very small (I'm 5"1') and this backpack adjusted to fit my tiny frame. It was very comfortable. The color of the backpack was also better than I expected - not as bright green as in the picture.
The only thing I wish was different is I wish that it came with a rain cover. We got caught in a thunderstorm and it would have been nice if I was able to keep my backpack dry. Most backpacks are water resistant, but I am not sure if this one is because I threw it into the tent. I'll have to buy a rain cover for it, which I don't mind at all because the backpack is awesome and I got it an unbeatable price!
By MRW from North Carolina on 06/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Padding, Great design, Lightweight, Perfect size Best Uses: Day Hikes, Extended Hikes, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love it! Just what I was looking for, a sturdy, daypack (with sleeve for hydration bladder) big enough for overnights and travel, but but small enough to use as carry-on and prevent over-packing! The one tiny con is the main compartment is a bit hard to load because of the inward-curving frame, but its necessary part of design to keep space between the back and the pack. Really like the shape of the pack, tall and narrow is a good fit on my back and for carry-on bins.
Tent Floor Plan Diagram Incorrect! By STP Junkie from Seattle, WA on 06/05/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just a head's up for everyone: The Floor Plan diagram is incorrect. The floor is roughly 88 x 168, not 108 x 156 as shown! (No fault of Sierra Trading Post...they just copied Kelty's error on the tag!) Great looking tent, but unfortunately it is being returned....
By ErinS from Casper, WY on 06/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Great padding, Highly Adjustable, Large capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Cycling, Day trip, Hiking, School Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've had this backpack for a year now and used it nearly every day for cycling to and from school with books, hiking, weekend travel, and I still love it. Love love love it. It's comfortable, well-padded and easy to adjust. It has great organization and more than enough storage for the things I need. I am so glad I invested in this pack and I really hope that when it finally wears out, I'm able to find another I like as much.
By j9rerun from Colorado Springs, CO on 06/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Large capacity, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this pack for air travel. It fits under most air craft seats well. I can pack enough clothes for a non-business minimalist week including running and swimming gear. I have to be careful not to pack the front pocket too full or it won't fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat. The compartments are just right.
By Ashley from Idaho on 06/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Neat Features, Roomy Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this carrier so I could take my 7 month old daughter for hikes and just around town. My biggest concern in purchasing a child carrier was whether or not I would be able to manage it alone. So far, I haven't had any trouble. It fits me great, (I'm 5'5 140), But my boyfriend said it was a little small (he's 6'1 180) And my little Frances LOVES it!
By Car Camper Stan from Philly on 06/04/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Sturdy Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Let me first state that I have not used this tent yet but wanted to give a little feedback if you were in the market for a new tent. I put this tent up in the back yard with my wife and had very little problems doing so. It was up in about 15 minutes. Kelty knows what they are doing. Instructions are not very necessary. Everything from the tent body, rain fly and flaps were obviously designed for ease. The tent is very well constructed and it seems storm-proof. The interior space is huge and well ventilated. The vestibule is large enough for a decent amount of gear. For the size, this tent is not overly heavy and well worth the price with STP.
