I purchased dozens for gifts. Almost all of them have a problem with the switch quality. It won't turn on without pushing really hard. It stays on. It's intermittent. It comes on accidentally. The compass and thermometer are so small they're next to impossible to read accurately. The triple LED is pretty bright.

I decided to keep it because the compass and thermometer did work. After two days the compass would work occasionally if you kept thumping it to get the needle unstuck. And I noticed that the thermometer was too small to get a good reading from. I threw it away.

It has far surpassed my expectations. This evening I used it in the car to read driving directions, to light our way up the steps to a friend's home, and to find my glasses case in my purse on the way back. I liked it so much I ordered several more. Buy this light. You will not be sorry.

With multiple places where you can stumble. Also the front door of my place is rarely lit at night making it hard to grab the right key at times. This small LED keychain light can make finding the lock / right key a snap. It is also bright enough to be able to use as a flashlight. (Some people may not like that)
