By seannamolly from Austin on 08/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, great price, Tough Cons: Heavy, Wears out FAST Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved this lighter when I got it in July. My friends admired it, and some bought their own. The butane window is great at showing the amount, but having fuel amounts to nothing since it is never "sparked" anymore. I have to use a lighter to start this!

By Jeff from Fort Collins on 08/17/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Sitting on the deck Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great lighter, but the lid doesn't open quite far enough. It remains too close to the flame which causes 2 problems.
1. Lid gets hot
2. More difficult to light a cigar.
Many of these high pressure lighters don't work at high altitude. I haven't taken this one up in the mountains yet so I can't comment on that.
