By paulcgar from Asheville, NC on 04/02/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The Eddie Bauer Exec. lighter feels and looks to be well constructed.
But upon flipping the lid and trying to light your cigar, you discover the lid does not flip back far enough. Causing you to contort your cigar and lighter at odd angles to get the foot lit properly as you puff and rotate.
Best suited for cigarettes.

Good lighter, but not for cigars By YourWaterGuy from Santa Rosa, CA on 03/24/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Works very well as far as lighting and staying lit, but cigars take longer to light and are large. The design makes it somewhat difficult to get flame to cigar tip, but most of all the lighter starts to get too hot to handle by the time the cigar is going. Makes for a good inexpensive backup lighter since all lighters break sometime.
By Richard from Oxford, OH on 03/19/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: If the switch hadn't been defective (item sent back for replacement) this would have been exactly what I was looking for. Will judge the replacement once it arrives.

By Rob G from Oakland CA on 02/24/2009 Pros: Bright, Durable, Long battery life Best Uses: Car Camping, Day trip Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These provide awesome illumination, and LEDs are great for battery life. The cons are that the flashlight is heavy (although durable) and uses oddball batteries (size N 1.5v). But for the price you get a very bright light.
