Quality, but not colorfast By ASmith from Santa Cruz on 11/10/2009 Best Uses: Long Rides, Road Biking Describe Yourself: Collegiate/Pro Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The leg length is short as someone mentioned and the are a slim fit. Fabric is quality with a decent chamois.
My main complaint is that these are not colorfast. The black has leached on to the saddle even after washing multiple times. They have basically destroyed a white saddle on one of my bikes. You have the choice of throwing these in the trash or getting a dark color saddle... Otherwise a nice set of bibs.
By BareButte Cyclist from Chico, CA on 11/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: As previously mentioned the zipper is atrocious. A little judicious hand sewn repair seems to have fixed that issue for the time being.
Otherwise ok, and allows for some temperature control with the removable sleeves.
Very nice for fall weather By mindfree from New York, NY on 10/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good fit Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good for morning or evening ride in the fall. The microfleece feels comfortable. Remember it is European size so go one size larger. I am US size medium and went for a large.
By love to bike from Richmond VA on 10/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a tall woman and tried this men's (m)jersey (which I frequently do) because I liked the style. The quality is great, but the sleeves are almost too short--I imagine they would be far too short for a man.
By Phil the Cyclist from Pasadena, CA on 08/18/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good fit, Great for all conditions, Waterproof, Windproof Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wore this jersey several times, and between the others I own, I love this jersey the best. Great fit, and versatile for all conditions. Price a bit high, but if you can afford it is a must have. Fabric, stitching and even zipper (very important) is made very very well.
By Kimm from Michigan on 07/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Commuting, Mountain Biking, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is likly the most comfortable top I own. I ordered it a size bigger than normal (L, instead of a M) and the fit is perfect. Not too tight, not too loose.
Nice garment at this price! By Colorado Duathlete from Fort Collins, CO on 07/15/2009 Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Functional, Windproof Best Uses: Cool Weather, Damp weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very nice, attractive, functional garment for the closeout price. The removeable sleeves are an excellent feature--it's essentially like having really nice, perfectly matching arm warmers on hand. As for the comments about the sizing, don't choose the typical S/M/L that you might select for other shirts/jackets. Just follow the measurements specified in parentheses and it'll fit exactly as it should. Regarding the comments about the zipper--yeah, it's not the top-notch kind of zipper you might expect to see on an item with an MSRP of $150, it's just your average, typical zipper. But with the appropriate fit, it works just fine. Would I buy this for the MSRP price? No way, but I wouldn't buy any cycling jersey/jacket for that much. For the closeout price, though, it's a nice item.
By --- from boston, ma on 07/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding, Great Fit Best Uses: Road Biking, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
By Rolling Along from Oakland, CA on 06/18/2009 Best Uses: Bad Weather, Commuting Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have not yet tested this jersey in cold weather. I am 5'3" and short-waisted. This jersey in a large size is wearable but rather tight and a little short. I will not be wearing it without a long-sleeved base layer, as the stitching in the sleeves feels uncomfortable on the arms.
