By Tommy Mac from Atlanta, GA on 12/09/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels too small Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered the XL and it was too tight in the chest and shoulders. I normally wear size large, so this left me wondering. Also, the zipper was on the left side, normally this is for womens apparel, not mens.
The zip off sleeves seemed to work well, and it would appear that it was windproof, but I returned the product without testing.
By Griff from Afton, WY on 11/28/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Great Fit Cons: Chafes, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These shorts have a terrible design flaw. The stitching in the pad chafes bad. I couldn't stand to wear them after being left raw on the first ride. I had to return them.
By Avid cyclist from Santa Barbara CA on 11/23/2008 Pros: Breathable, Good fit Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's not easy to find a good quality long-sleeve bike jersey that looks sharp at an affordable price. This one fits the bill in all respects.
By Obiroddy from Baltimore MD on 11/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket simply keeps out the wind. I cycle in all temps and it works in the coldest. All you need is a good base layer under it. I highly recommend it
By Long Distance Biker from Chicago on 11/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight Best Uses: Best below 35 degrees, Cold Weather, Road Biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good product. A little warmer than I was looking for
High quality shell for cooler temps By Tony Sgro from Orinda, CA on 11/10/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Pockets and Features Best Uses: Mountain Biking, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far so good. Nice high collar, bullet-proof fabric it seems, too. Very nicely made. I am surprised, however that it built up as much moisture in the inside lining after a hard ride. However, I did not get cold as long as I kept riding.
By Lou from Northern NJ on 11/09/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cool and cold weather, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have only worn this jacket 3 times, but I am expecting it to perform excellently under most conditions. The white material on the jacket allows air to enter and the material that is red and black blocks the air completely. The back of the jacket has a type of material that will let excess heat escape. This combination of materials allows the jacket to be comfortable in a wide range of temperatures. For the first ride it was 34F and no sun. I wore two thin layers under neath and I was very comfortable. The second ride it was 59F. I wore one thin cotton layer only and it was comfortable. The only possible minor problem is that your arms get a little chilly because air can enter through the material there. I guess wearing arm warmers or a cycle jersey as base layer on colder days would solve that problem.
By Lars the Mountain Biker from Aalborg, Denmark on 11/09/2008 Pros: Breathable, Good fit Best Uses: Mountain biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
By Dwalk from Las Vegas on 11/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding Best Uses: Road Racing, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The legs are much shorter than other bibs and shorts I own.
But what's reflective about it By Soondae from OSAN AB, Korea on 11/07/2008 Cons: Not really reflective Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a really nice jacket and a bargain at this price. However it is advertised as reflective and I was disappointed in that there really is no reflective material other than some white. But I am really happy with this product.
