Top quality at top discount price By JimofNYC from New York on 06/25/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, First-rate Italian suit Best Uses: Experience quality, Formal Occasions, Going Out, Office, Office Meetings, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper, Not your avg sheep, Practical, Stylish Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have another Isaia suit, 42R. Fits to perfection. Looks and feels like a million. The suit I received also 42R but tight around shoulders and arm holes. Sleeve length perfect. I'm 6ft 183lbs,and my other Isaia suit looks custom made for me. Go figure. Returned this 42R, no 44R available. Suspect it would be oversized in some spots anyway. Much regrets. Fabric and tailoring is flawless. Did not try on trousers. Advisory: Isaia tailoring does not accommodate a beer belly.
Highest quality tailored sportscoat By Serious shopper with high expectations from Wilmington, DE & Bethesda, MD on 06/23/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, High-end shopper, Stylish Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Although I bought this fine quality sports coat for summer wear, it is slightly too heavy for summer. It's more appropriate for early fall and early spring wear here in the mid-Atlantic area.
Impractically heavy fabric for summer By OCULUS from Rensselaer, NY on 06/20/2009 Cons: Irregular Size, Too Heavy, Wrinkles Easily Describe Yourself: Classic, High-end shopper, Practical, Wary of Italian sizing Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: After ordering up a size to get Isaia to fit, I was surprised and disappointed at the very heavy weight of this cotton/linen blend. Being ivory color, there would be no extended-season wear for this in upstate NY, so it was returned. A handsome 3-D weave, that despite its weight and drape is prone to wrinkles that do not hang out.
Great shorts on the tighter side By Ephblum from Amherst, NY on 06/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Golf Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice shorts from top end manufacturer. Price implies they are well-made and that holds true. I have 5 pairs and two were purchased last summer and they have held up very well. 52 (supposedly equal to 36" waist which is what I normally wear) on those first two pairs was a bit tight so the next three were 54. These are not that much looser than the 52 and thus fit great. Isaia sizing is a bit weird probably at least in part due to Euro size conversions. All of the shorts have lasted well and look as new still. The zippered back pocket is nice for security when traveling with the wallet and the front left thigh pocket is perfect for extra golf balls. Nice waistband with Isaia logo and other features such as horn buttons, double button front closure, flap over the button on the left back pocket, etc. Material is very soft with a perfect broken-in feel right out of the box. Zippers have endured well considering in my experience some designer zippers have failed miserably on the durability front (Zegna coat for example). One caveat, be careful sitting down on leather furniture with the zippered pocket. Even though the zipper is "hidden" with fabric, if you slide around you risk a scratch-I try to sit on a blanket on any of our leather furniture when wearing these. Overall great shorts and great STP price.
I would buy this elegant garment again! By Bob in Utica from Utica, New york on 06/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This does run small; but, the fit is great if you order up (order two sizes up - ie. order 34 if 32, and 38 if 36). Overall the fit is flattering, not too baggy and not too trim. It is a flat front, but there is a short seam where pleats normally are and it gives a kind-of hybrid look. A look between flat and pleated, more flat, which I find attractive. Fabric is nice and is a casual/dressy type. Only negatives are that it has to be dry cleaned and the pockets in front are doable, but a bit small. I haven't taken these to the tailor yet and I'm not sure if there is enough fabric to cuff these. It'll be close, I think.
By Suit Man from NYC on 06/10/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Breathable, Comfortable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Office Meetings, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Isaia suits are among the best available, especially in the price ranges offered here. They are cut to Italian sizes though, so they run small for most Americans. I'm thin and lanky--a perfect 42 usually--and I wear a 44 in Isaia. My tailor can let out the 42s since there's always enough material, but inevitably the sleeves are short, and he prefers to take in the 44 (54)a bit, so I purchase the 54 and they work out well. These are great suits, better in my opinion (and my tailor's) than most of well known European designer brands. The material and hand--wonderful. The attention to detail, pic stitching, full canvas, lining--all first rate.

By Selecta' ///M3 of Cool Runnings Intl' from Cali Yard, U.S.A. on 06/06/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Formal Occasions, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Conservative, High-end shopper, Stylish, Trendy Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an awesome piece. I can't wait to get it back from the tailor. Nice fabric that is light and is good as an all season suit.
By Jim from Los Angeles, CA on 06/03/2009 Pros: Good Quality, Stylish Best Uses: Formal Events, Office Describe Yourself: High End Shopper, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Isaia is a premier brand, highly recommended.
Superb Construction; busy pattern By Whallyden from Midwest on 06/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Construction, Fit Best Uses: Office, Office Meetings Describe Yourself: Conservative, High-end shopper, Practical Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The beaded and chalk stripe are OK together, but a subtle herringbone weave (which is indiscernible in photos) puts the pattern "over-the-top" in my opinion. It goes without saying that construction is top notch, with a shoulder to die for. Fit was very flattering for my 5'10" 185lb. frame.
