By Anna Banana from Iowa on 05/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Breathable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Office, Office Meetings Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper, Practical Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an excellent garment; however, as others have said about the Isaia suits, they do run small. A 42L is normally a perfect fit for my husband. In this 42L, the sleeves were too short, the shoulders too narrow, and the body a little snug. Unfortunately, the suit was not available in a larger size, so we returned it for a refund. I would recommend this suit, but only in a larger size than the person normally wears.

By Stan from East Coast on 04/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Practical, Stylish, Trendy Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This suit is very high quality, and the cut of the jacket is fantastic, if you are a fan of high armholes and sufficient waist suppression. The only warning I would say is that the legs of the pants are quite slim.
People will stare when you wear this By ThomasJefferson from United States on 04/20/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This suit is made from a very subtle herringbone weave of Super 120's wool . The Neapolitan roped shoulder is very striking. Highly recommended.
Exceptional quality, competitive price. By Fishing for Suits from Miami, FL on 04/14/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Craftsmanship, Quality materials Best Uses: Formal Occasions, Office, Office Meetings Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This a beautiful suit designed with enough versatility to be appropriate for both business and social settings. As one would expect from Isaia, the quality of materials and construction are excellent. It is lightweight and very breathable. The shoulders have a very natural fit and the suit is quite a bit sleeker than pictured. The fit however, is trim and I am normally a 52(EU)/42(US) in most suits, but I ordered a 54(EU) and it fits properly if not a touch thin. I suspect a size smaller would be too tight across the chest and waist. The trousers are low rise and also run rather slim and will need to be let out a touch in the waist.
Amazing Fabric, Amazing fit. By Institutional Financial Markets.... from Chicago on 04/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Best Uses: Going Out, Office Meetings, Travel Describe Yourself: Conservative, High-end shopper, Stylish Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Watch David Letterman a couple nights. This suit looks like that kind of quality - except I am sure Letterman is paying $10,000+ for his. I own about a dozen Isaia sport coats and 8 Isaia suits. Most of them were purchased on this site. The fabric on this suit is a bit heavier - so it will be mostly a 3 season suit (in Chicago). Isaia cuts their suits a bit more thin in the waist (on the suits) and legs (on the pants) - which is nice since I am a marathoner and on the thin side (32 waist). Most suits that fit in the shoulders and chest are just way too big to take in in the waist on the suits and the pants. Not so w/ Isaia. This particular fabric is brilliant for business. You'll look like a CEO. But, w/ that understated hint of style in the cut and tailoring of Isaia suits (especially the shoulders), this suit can be worn w/ an open collar and tan shoes/belt (yes - it looks great w/ the gray pinstripe fabric - trust me) to brilliant effect for a very smart casual look. Isaia is very true to size - do not buy a size bigger if you do not see your size and try to "tailor down" - it will not look right in the body b/c of the way they cut the canvas lining. If they have your exact size - it will look incredible w/ the right minor alterations. I also recommend working button holes - but only if you find a tailor w/ a button-hole machine. If they tell you they can do it by hand - walk away; they are not true fine men's suits tailors.....
