Asolo Switch Trail Running Shoes By Trail Walker from San Jose, CA on 11/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is one of the most comfortable pair of trail/running shoes I have ever owned. They fit right from the start and did not require a break in period like most other shoes. They work well on trails, pavement and have good traction on steep trails and rock. I use them to walk/hike, rather than to run, so I can not comment on their comfort or performance while running. I cannot think of anything that I don't like about this shoe. I should have bought two pairs!
Wow, these shoes are great!! By bugeaterz from Porltand, Or on 11/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Construction work, Day Hiking, Everyday, Harsh Terrain, Heavy Loads, Light Loads, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational, Construction Contractor Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product from day one. They are a little stiff the first day but after that, no issue. I wear them all day long and my feet are always comfortable. The shoe feels sturdy on my foot. I took out the flimsy factory insole and put in a better made one, which makes a big difference to me. Great traction, warm, waterproof. This is the second pair of Asolos I have used for work. The first pair lasted close to a year. I am thinking about buying a second pair of FS95's because @ [$] it a great price.

I have severe arthritis in my right ankle and high arches. I always add an arch supports to any boot, but these are by far the BEST bang for the buck for a quality boot at a reasonable price. I have 25 plus years of hard core hiking on my feet. Asolo keeps them happy!
