Flow

Flow

Flow may be a snowboarding brand now, but the company was started in 1992 by two windsurfing equipment designers. Flow’s founders wanted to create a snowboard binding that was more convenient than a strap-in binding and more comfortable than a step-in-something with a more "barefoot feel." Within a few short years, Flow snowboard bindings and Flow snowboard boots were being used by avid riders all over the world. The patented Flow Power Triangle is what sets a Flow binding apart from the rest. A high tensile steel cable connects the hiback to the base-plate, forming a triangle. This configuration enhances energy transmission and snowboard feel, resulting in a more responsive ride. Flow snowboard bindings also provide faster entry and exit than traditional strap-in bindings, so you can get around the mountain faster than ever.

Best Uses:

Comments:
The best thing about Flows is getting off the chairlift, stepping-in the rear binding and with a one hand pull-up of the binding back-your in! Even when coming down the chair off-load ramp, in seconds your in! No sitting around on your butt fiddling with freestyle strap bindings. Flow bindings secure you feet better than ANY strap binding I have ever had (Burton ect.)- and they do not crush like strap bindings. Ultimate response, ultimate COMFORT, no more soaking wet butt! All eight riders I ride with have converted to flows. After 15 years of riding I have found a true snowboard binding to love.
