They turned out to be everything I had hoped for. They had good tread on the snow and were warm. I'm not much into style, but these did look good with the slight wedge heel. While not quite a half size big, they were a little loose, but maybe with a heavier sock, they might fit a tighter. Overall, if I don't get a blister from a shoe, I consider it a success!

Two of my co-workers liked my boots so much that one ordered a pair for herself and the other ordered a pair for her daughter. If you wear a 1/2 size you may want to consider ordering up. But if you're going to wear a thin (nylon) to light sock, order down.

THey feel like they are going to be very warm. The only thing that I think could be better is the arch support. It seems to need more so I think I will try some inserts in them.
