Soft, warm, mediocre comfort and quality By Nicole from Burlington, VT on 03/13/2009 Cons: Uncomfortable, Wear Out Quickly Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these as a back up pair of boots for when the weather isn't terrible so that I don't always have to wear my Sorels. The boots are warm and keep my feet dry which is great since I walk a lot. They're attractive enough so that I can wear them to the office and not feel like I need to switch into other shoes. There is little support or contour in the sole, so although they fit well, they aren't amazingly comfortable. My biggest complaint is that one of the eyelets broke off the first day I wore them. Boo.
By Winter walker from New Hampshire on 03/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stable, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Easy on, easy off. Great to slip into for daily use.
Not for deep snow, and I haven't yet tried them with my snowshoes.
Advertised as leather, but tag says "All man made materials". I kept them anyway because of the value and quality.
By It's all about the Shoes from Boston MA on 03/09/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Warm, Well Made Cons: Not enough arch support Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are so warm and comfy. They particularly work well for me since I have very muscular calves and the side buckles are adjustable. The only comment that I have in the negative is that I need a little more arch support - but that is a problem that applies to most shoes that I buy.
By Discriminating Shopper from Wolcott, CT on 03/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchased this boot for general use in snowy weather, based on the description, and as a stylish alternative to other "clunky" styles. Unfortunately, after wearing them for the first time, I discovered that the description in the catalog "polyurethane-coated leather" was not accurate. The product is actually labeled "all man-made materials". Definitely over-priced for synthetic material. Too soon to comment on product durabilty, and warmth when exposed to cold temps for extended periods of time.
By TryingRacer from Surprise, Arizona on 03/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Stylish, Warm, Well Made Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Kept my feet warm in brisk weather. Very happy with this product
By Patricia from New York State on 03/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love these boots! Great traction for walking on snow and ice covered driveways and walkways. Very warm in even the coldest days, down near zero degrees. They look very cute worn over a straight leg pair of pants or jeans. Comfort level is very good (I've worn them all day working and all day shopping) but would be better with more arch support. I'm planning on solving that with an insole.

I haven't worn them much because the temperatures warmed right after I purchased them.

When temperatures a little higher the boots are warm and comfortable.
