It remains to be seen how practical it will be. Heavier weight than a fabric hat. There is a wire in the brim which gives it shape ... seems like it can be bent rather easily changing the shape of the brim. Fit is snug and hopefully the leather will not shrink with use. Will see how it performs in hot weather.

I have both colors. IMO the black looks nicer. The stitching was weird on the brown but I still like the hat for the price.

Many useful pockets and features. Waxed fabric is not necessarily waterproof. The lightweight flannel lining and outer fabric makes the jacket heavier than it appears to be and quite warm.
