By akfletch from Homer, Alaska on 06/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact Roll Up, Easy To Inflate, Lightweight, Non Slip Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Full length self-inflating pad, head to toe and plenty wide. More than most folks really need for backpacking, but, it's not that heavy, why not live it up? AS THE INSTRUCTIONS CLEARLY STATE it takes a while to self-inflate the first time out of the factory package, so do it in your living room before you go!
By teddy from illinois on 06/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Non Slip Cons: Difficult To Inflate Best Uses: Car Camping, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have only used it once in last week's car camping. It's really comfortable to have it under the sleeping bag. However, it does not inflate as easy as it claimed. Overall, nice product

Overall a good stuff sack By SRock from Mechanicsburg, PA on 06/30/2009 Pros: Compact, Durable, Easy to pack, Lightweight Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Day Trips, River Trips, Road Trips, Survival, Winter Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was able to fit my Marmot 2p tent, tent footprint, regular size sleeping pad and my sleeping bag all in this sack. Once you pull the compression straps, you're good to go. The only con, for me, is that the top section that has the nylon straps can get a little tangled up. No biggie...
I am very happy with my purchase...
Good value for car camping. By Every sport, any time. from New Jersey on 06/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Design, Easy To Inflate Cons: Bulky Roll Up, Heavy, Slips Easily Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This pad is great for car camping. Held up to a 5 and 2 year old jumping all over the tent. It is a little too heavy for backpacking unless weight is not an issue. The surface is a little slippery when used with a nylon shell sleeping bag.
By NVskifun from Napa,CA on 06/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Inflate, Non Slip Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Extended Trips, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for my son and it seems comparable to the Thermarests I've had. You do have to help it inflate some, but you can adjust the hardness. It's nice and long and I liked the non-slip material on the bottom. Now if we could just keep from slipping-off the top in our sleeping bags. The straps and stuff bag are very useful. Great price on sale. Not sure how well it will last.
By diego from bellingham, wa on 06/28/2009 Cons: Flimsy Construction, Not waterproof, Poles break easily Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This tent is a good price, has plenty of room, but I would not buy this tent again, as it rains alot in the pacific northwest and sturdier tent poles are nice for car camping.
Easy to erect but poor quality materials By retspecops from Mexico Beach, Florida on 06/28/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The canopy was intended for beach use on the Gulf Coast and was extremely easy for one man to erect. It provided ample shade and when staked down with 16" garden stakes withstood several thunderstorms with winds in excess of 20 mph (and would have undoubtably withstood more severe winds without being uprooted). However, I discovered that one of fiberglass poles had split
during a storm and the resulting severe bow in one of the legs caused a significant dip on one edge of the shelter.
