I ordered one size larger than I wear and they were a little big for me. The waist sits just below natural waist. They are very sturdy, good sliding on rocks, etc. They do not wick water very much at all. I am very satisfied with the product.

By Cruiser from Littleton, CO on 11/08/2009 Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is not typical Arc'teryx quality and fit. It seemed to be cut much more full through the chest and stomach than other Arc'teryx jackets I've bought. The material felt like it wouldn't stand up to much abuse. Made in China which isn't typical for them either. Don't grab this one if you're more athletically built and are looking for that nice slim fit that you usually get from Acr'teryx outerwear.
definitely a relaxed fit... By zealousdescent from Boston, MA on 11/08/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: not for the slim or un-layered

It was also quite a bit thinner that I thought it would be. Make sure that you know what you are purchasing when you buy this.
