By Justin from Oregon on 04/14/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased 2 of these lights in the belief, I was getting a high quality product at a great price (Usual STP deal). The light was fair at best. The rechargeable batteries were just shrink wrapped together and had to be removed from the light and mounted on a cheap plastic charger to recharge. I returned them and bought 2 smaller, brighter and less expensive CREE bulb lights.

By Truk from Peoria, IL on 01/12/2009 Pros: Bright, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: General use, this little light is brighter than many 5D cell Maglites that I have had.
I would highly recommend this product. By Big Daddy Wen from Plain City, OH on 08/04/2008 Pros: Bright, Durable, Long battery life, Stable Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this a lot for backpacking, hunting and fishing. It uses AA batteries which last longer than AAA's. This is my second one. The first one lasted several years of torture. It went over 500 miles on canoe trips, several backpacking trips and countless hours of use.

Good lamp overall for stability By TKM from St.Paul, mn on 07/23/2008 Pros: Durable, Long battery life Cons: Bulky, No Beam Adjustment Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Over all I like the headlamp. The battery in
back balances it better (than battery in front types). The various options for lights does give
some fexibility for direction of light but not as
well as the movable light ones. Also it's a little harder to wear a cap with this light! I do like more batteries for longer life and the fact the battery case has a latch. I found the pop off kind break very easily pretty much making them useless since the battery connection becomes poor.

By Weekend Camper from New Jersey on 07/19/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Price is right but you get what you pay for. The headlamp (krypton bulbs and LEDs) is simply not bright enough.
