By kayaker dds from nashville tn on 06/16/2008 Best Uses: Car Camping, Emegency, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this thing is tough enough you could bust a window and the clobber someone with it. Rechargable batteries are odd. its like 4 size 123 batts packaged together and you take them out and put in specialized carger. really nice bright light. this is like what the cops use.

By Steven from Lincoln, MA on 06/02/2008 Pros: Adjustable Beam, Bright, Durable, Long battery life, Stable Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well constructed head lamp. Comfortable to wear. The single diode setting alone is quite bright and sheds sufficient light for most uses. The xenon bulb has good range and its a nice feature to have available when you need to see over a larger distance. You can't go wrong with this light, especially for the price.
By Ann from Kerrville, TX on 06/01/2008 Pros: Adjustable Beam, Bright, Durable Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking, Night Fishing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Gift for my husband. He loves it for hands free walking around the yard at night, night fishing, or his morning school bus run when he arrives at the bus yard before sun up.
By Old Pilot from Longview, TX on 05/29/2008 Pros: Bright, Long battery life, Uses standard batteries Best Uses: Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have other headlamps that are lighter and more comfortable but batteries are more expensive. I also like the switch location because it is not easily bumped into the "ON" position while in your pack.
