By Jimbo from Oregon on 11/02/2009 Best Uses: Downhill, Telemarking Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have some 174s from '08, and the only thing I have to say is, at 6' tall and with a narrow waist on the ski, I should have gone a little longer. Otherwise these are nice and light, the shortness helps going uphill in the trees, and the flex is forgiving enough to get over trees and other obstacles easily without breaking. They take skins OK. Downhill the skis require some speed and a rather small turn radii to really operate properly, but will grind up and down almost any conditions.

By Newbie from Laramie, WY on 03/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Lacing System, Good for a newbie, Great buy, Warm Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a skating newbie, but so far I've really liked these boots. They fit well, (I tried them on in the store before I bought them), are comfortable and seem to perform well. No pressure points.
By Elizabeth from North Carolina on 03/05/2009 Pros: Adjustability, Comfortable, Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these boots but only gave 4 stars since they did run narrow and a half size small on me. I ordered a half size up from normal and they're perfect. These boots form to your foot and leg so when you get them, they will be tight. Just heat them with a hairdryer (or boot warmers)and wear them a few times before your first trip out on the snow. I was afraid that they were too tight when I got them but then I read about how they conform to your feet. Three times I heated them up and wore them for about a half hour. What a difference! So glad I researched these boots. They are definitely worth the effort. These are the most comfortable, adjustable, responsive boots I've worn. Changed my skiing performance immediately. Just be sure to take the time to form them to your feet. A steal!
By Becca from Marin, CA on 03/04/2009 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My previous boots were comfortable, but not quite fitted enough in the back of my foot. These provide a very nice and close fit so that I have as much control as possible on the slopes. After two days of skiing heavy powder, they did start to hurt a bit, so I was glad to have my old boots to wear for my third day of skiing. But next time I'm on the mountain I'll be back to these boots.
By Becca from Marin, CA on 03/04/2009 Pros: Good Carving Ability, Good Grip, Lightweight, Smooth Ride Describe Yourself: Advanced Skier Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These skis are lightweight but stable. They might not be the best skis in any one area, but they do well in everything, so I am happy. [@]
