Very nice, I like. But a huge neck By FunctionOverForm from Washington, DC on 11/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great Polartec Wind Pro fabrick. No hand pockets which is ok since I will store thin gloves in the Napoleon pocket. The sleeves are slightly long which I sometimes drape over my hands but they also shrug back nicely behind wrists which is where they are most of the time. The neck is too huge. The trim is long which covers my butt. Overall, very nice for this windy city and trip back and forth to the gym. Great material for the price. I wish the neck was not so large but overall it has become my favorite jacket.

Long sleeves are ok if you forget your gloves!

By Mom of 6 from Fort Langley, British Columbia on 10/19/2009 Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Didn't care for this top it was scratchy and to big for me.
My son's new favorite jacket By Monkey from Twin Cities, MN on 10/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Good Fit, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fun animal prints on soft fuzzy fleece? Who wouldn't like it?
The jacket is probably not warm enough for sub-freezing temps, but that's not what it's for. This is a perfect jacket for mildly chilly days (with not too much wind)

attractive style but scratchy fabric By jp from Chandler, AZ on 10/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice looking zip neck and the new berry color is pretty, however the fabric is very scratchy and I will need to wear a base layer under it so it doesn't touch my skin. The length is good which has been hard for me to find so I will keep it.
By Climbing Laura from Boulder CO on 10/06/2009 Best Uses: Staying warm at home Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I will never buy Avalanche Wear again. As far as I can tell, they are a company that buys leftover or previous year's fabrics from good name companies like Polar Tec and proceeds to make cheaply designed and sewn products. This shirt fits poorly, has cheap seams, and this is not the same Polartec Power Dry fabric that I've seen in stores. If it really is Power Dry, I believe it is a much earlier version. I would only recommend this shirt to someone who needs to buy on the cheap and get something technical and warm but doesn't care about looks or design.
By Yasi from Peaks Island Maine on 09/24/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Versatile Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this to wear while training dogs, and it was just a bit too fitted for that purpose, so I sent one to each of my daughters as a cozy and lightweight alternative to a sweater on campus. They seem to love them. They aren't lined, these are definitely a casual fleece vest, but the blue color is pretty and the chest is quite fitted. This isn't very long, just coming past the waist, not to the hip.
