By Bennie from Rochester, MN on 11/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday Wear, Hiking, Running, Snow Sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ten years old and still look good, fit the same, after frequent washings--only pair I have--and I have even put them in the dryer.
I will be ordering more, over the phone.
By Nana from Denver, CO on 11/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Used as Baby Sleep Sack Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used as Baby Sleep Sack for grandson who likes to kick in his sleep. This allows him to kick freely and has reduced some of his nightly kicking. It fits well over his sleeper and keeps him the right temperature....no waking up during the nights because he is cold. Like it that hands can be covered or not depending on how cool it is. Easy to get the baby in and out of because of the double zippers. It washes easily and looks like new every time. Only issue, which I dealt with easily by sewing, was 2 weak seams.
By Sally Q from Long Island, NY on 11/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Runs small. I'm usually a size 4 or small, but this small was almost like a girls size 14. I reordered a medium and this fits well. If planning to layer it, order larger than you normally would! It is soft and oh, so warm!
By Backwoods Jane from Sutter Creek, CA on 11/15/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I originally ordered a small - I'm 5'4", 130#, - it was WAY too tight/short. I re-ordered in a medium - it fits very trim through the chest/trunk, but OK - for a looser fit or if you wearing multiple layers, I'd order 2 sizes up. Vest is not lined, so the backside of the pockets show on the inside front panels if not zipped up. I like the warmth of the fleece & the color blocking. It's made in Canada, which is refreshing.
By lfn from salt lake city, ut on 11/14/2009 Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: nice, warm jacket. seems to run small, but i got a size larger and it's fine.
Good quality but not as warm as expected By lava from Chicago, IL on 11/13/2009 Best Uses: Cool with no wind Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this jacket for my daughter for fall in Chicago, but so far every time she wears it she says she is cold. Might be ok if absolutely no wind.
Actually does help block wind By Almost always cold from Indiana on 11/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Somewhat flimsy pockets Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Yes, the sleeves are abnormally long (and I'm a tall person) but I admit that I kind of like that. This fleece feels very light but I can wear it when it's in the mid-30s in the morning and still feel warm, and also wear it in my office when I'm chilled and not be too hot. I didn't give it five stars because the pockets are somewhat flimsy -- not terribly well attached to the fleece. Also, the contrast of black zipper on the blue fleece is a little more obvious than I expected. A matching zipper would have been nice. But overall, a good value for a soft, windblocking fleece.
Not designed for active women By Northland runner from Duluth, MN on 11/11/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Constricts Movement, Small through the hips- Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: this jacket fits like a men's jacket - too tight in the hips. It has a very straight cut - I am returning it.
