It is actually brown. The jacket was much lighter than my previous shearling jacket. Upon inspection it was a very well constructed and sturdy build. The lighter weight doe not take away any warmth. This jacket goes with me when skiing and meets every apres' ski need!

My head measured 23", but the hat that fit was 24". The hat seems to be of decent quality, although, the supposed [$] retail price appears way too high.

Keeps me warm like no other. Shearling I find to be the warmest material. I like the leather, so it can be worn in rain or show as well. The hood is a bonus. I find I still need a hat under the hood.

I won't have to wear a lot of layers in the winter with this one. And I love the hood!! Only complaint is that it isn't long enough (more like a 3/4 length, not full length coat).

I usually wear a small or a size 4 in coats so I bought a size 4. It was SO small that I couldn't get the front to meet in order to button it. It was more like a size 0. Aside from that, I felt the quality was not as good as I had expected. I sent it back and didn't order another. Overall I was disappointed because this is what I really wanted.
