By P. Walnuts from Northern California on 12/08/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm required to wear steel-toes at work, and due to the nature of the work, it's crucial that they are also waterproof and very very tough, durable, and well-constructed. I am on my feet and moving all day on concrete so comfort is also key. There aren't a whole lot of boots or shoes that can fulfill all these requirements and/or don't fall apart in a matter of months. I've torn through boots by other high-end work boot brands that cost twice as much as these Lacrosse like a hot knife through butter, but not these. They are tough as nails, keep my feet dry as a bone in a constantly wet workplace, stand up to constant abuse and are ridiculously comfortable. I really cannot say enough good things about them.
They run a bit small, I wear an even eleven in normal shoes, I ordered these in an 11.5 (steeltoe) and they fit perfectly. They felt a little tight at first and I even considered a twelve, but once they are broken in a bit, the 11.5 is perfect.
Enjoy!
