Excellent Product from Lafuma By Mountain Man Dan from Houghton, MI on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe is an excellent hiker, and should make any owner happy. There is a reason is got best overall hiking boot/shoe from Backpacker magazine... This thing is really, really comfy and fits your foot like a glove. It feels light, and the Vibram performs well. The OutDry seems to work very well, though I haven't soaked it totally yet. One thing to note, for people who shop by look, it is chunkier than it looks, but I would say the "order half-size up" is accurate. Also, the coloring (at least in Dark Earth) is darker than that picture looked, but that doesn't really matter if you're just looking for performance (as I was). The only thing I remain skeptical on is the lacing...we'll see if the cords last.
By Gert from Milwaukee, WI on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good Padding, Highly Adjustable, Large Capacity, Lightweight Cons: Seems sturdy not sure, Too many straps Best Uses: Day Hikes, Light Loads, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this backpack for work and to cart my
laptop around. It is very good for those purposes.
I would not take this backpack on some rugged
camping trip or extended travel, but for light
everyday use it is fine. I also like the way it looks, but do not like how many straps are attached to it. I ended up cutting some of them off.
Good backpack for the price.

By Ted the Visionary from Ringgold, GA on 10/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Roomy, Stows Easily Cons: Hood needs a draw string, Poor Hood Design Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, 40 F to 70 F camping, Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wore wool socks, thermals, and still felt cold at 30 F
Has a thin layer of cushioning/insulation for the bottom section of the bag
Hood doesn't have a draw string; used a fleece jacket to block the cold air
Materials are very comfortable and plush, but yet compact-able = very lightweight and cozy
Light, affordable down bag By Cory from PA on 10/23/2009 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Comfortable, Lightweight, Price, Warm Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Backpacking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When I reviewed a bunch of sleeping bags (that can get quite pricey) I decided on this Lafuma Warm n Light 800. It packs really small, is quite warm (although I haven't used it below the upper 40's) and as a closeout was as affordable as a heavy bulky poly fill bag from my local army surplus store. So far, it's worked nicely for me on overnight backpacking trips in PA and the Adirondacks.
Nice quality, but BABY size By gancipants from greenfield, MA on 10/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Nap time at preschool Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: good quality but check the measurements, this is a baby/toddler size, not a youth size. it's very cozy. my 4yr old loves it,though she's busting out of it! great price!
By The Shoe Addict from NYC on 10/23/2009 Pros: Anti-slip, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Great Cushioning Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Style Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big View On Shoes: I'm Into Shoes Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This pair of rubber boots looks more elegant than others. They are heavy, cushiony, and well made. They do feel up to ½ size too big and a little wide but do fit well with thicker socks.
After trying them on they do appear to be less breathable – perhaps since they are made from rubber :)
By EM from Connecticut on 10/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I go to Chile in US winter. These shoes look perfect for summer there, they are light and I can trust they will perform in any summer weather changes and terrain.
