By brodog from Santa Fe, NM on 11/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable, Water proof, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Trail running, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ran in 4 inches of new snow with these right out of the box on semi technical trails. No blisters, my feet stayed warm and cozy. The soles gripped really well. One small caveat: in my haste to get out the door, I could not get the little ankle gaiters attached. Don't know yet if the shoes are durable or not, although they appear to be.
By HillHucker from Fayetteville, AR on 11/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Preventing ankle injuries, Stable Cons: Not Water Resistant, Slippery on clay hardpack Best Uses: Day hikes, Trail running Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The lynx fits true to sportiva sizing. It might be a little small compared to other brands. Awesome traction on trail. Can be slippery on clay hard-pack though or breaking them in around town. The toe bed is just a hair narrower then i would like but it's not that noticeable. Fit, comfort, and support are great even with stock insoles. Makes you wanna go tear up some trails.

Awesome traction on wet rocks, not so good on wet grass, however. These shoes work great on rock scrambles, mountain biking, hikes and around town... Overall Awesome shoe
