Warm, affordable ski pants By Traveler Jamie from Springfield, VA on 02/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Hiking, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Only drawback is elastic waist. A bit too frumpy, for my stylistic tastes. Overall, a great value and a ski jacket will probably cover the aforementioned elastic. Not enough pockets, otherwise, 5 stars.
By Thrify Mom from North Central CT on 01/31/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Seams not taped for water Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Don't let the fact that the seams are not taped stop you from purchasing these ski pants. Because of this they are not officially waterPROOF. They are lighweight and warm - best use for the playground at school or ice skating- not bulky or heavy for carrying in the backpack to school. We really like these pants.
