Canada Goose

Canada Goose

Graceful in flight, breathtaking in black and white, the Canada goose is naturally insulated in cold temperatures and frigid winds. Canada Goose outerwear is designed to keep you as warm as its winged namesake and is stylish enough for urban wear. Canada Goose began making expedition-caliber outerwear more than 45 years ago. Its parkas, jackets and accessories are field tested by people who live and work in South Pole research facilities, the Canadian Arctic, and Iditarod country, so you can be sure Canada Goose clothing will keep you warm no matter where you live, work and play.

This is a high-quality parka. The water-proof, breathable fabric is fantastic - truly amazing. Unfortunately for the price, the zipper is the only sub-standard element. It's difficult to start and does not match the superior quality of the jacket. Other than that I fully intend to wear this garment for the rest of my life. Very fine construction.

Comments:
This is a great jacket from the non-insulated collection of CG - schoeller c_change membrane, and the stretchy WB-400 soft shell exterior. The jacket fits and feels great, snug but not too tight. The zippers are very waterproof. My only gripe is that the hand warmer pockets have no zippers on them but I don't think that even when using this jacket for skiing in deep pow, the snow would get in as the pockets have a flap quite effectively covering the opening. The length is great, not too long not too short. I have previously purchased the Tofino bomber jacket from CG, which is a very similar piece, but was disappointed with the external material (not stretchy at all and quite movement-limiting) and the short cut. This is jacket is definitely better in many regards and looks great whether walking around town or skiing (though the hood does not fit over a ski helmet).

Great jacket. I have never seen a material quite as hydrophobic as this. Amazing really. Only complaint is that the hood visor could be larger so as to keep rain from running down you face. That being said, I am still very happy with it.
