The altimiter needs daily calibration, takes a second or two. Easy to read and extremely versitile display. I found it very easy to set up and use. The heart rate monitor chest band is suprisingly comforatable. Overall it's a great buy. I have recomended it to a bunch of like minded people without hesitation.

Have trouble opening the mirror: could just be my old hands. FYI: the mirror is for signaling, not for reflecting your face. The magnifying glass is for fire starting, not for reading.
